Young Confraria of Cava is founded at the beginning of 1985 through the Confraria with the object of promoting the cava and its culture between young people. Nowadays, it's the unique baquique Confrarie of the world constituted by young people of 18 to 30 years old.

The promotion and diffusion of Cava is the aim that makes almost 500 young confrares organize all kind of activities like visiting cavas and cellars, trips to study viticultures regions, courses for beginners to learn to taste cava and the investiture acts that take place in Printemps season and during the week of Cava.

Between the Young Confreres of Honour are, Pepe Barroso, Sito Pons, Jordi Tarrés, Arancha and Emilio Sánchez Vicario, Blanca Fernández Ochoa, Maribel Verdú, Inés Sastre, Josep Guardiola and Alberto Berasategui, Oriol Grau, Fermí Fernández, Andreu Buenafuente, Mercè Martí, Sergi Bruguera, Asha Miró, Marc Jené, Sergi Arola...

It's very important the work and significance of the Young Confraria of Cava because guarantee the continuity and the future of the labour taken by the Confraria of Cava and at the same time is positive for the defence of the viticulture culture between young people of our country.
